Pathfinder Clinics are short versions to the full six session series. We cover the basics of ground balls, throw and catch, cradling, and a face dodge.
We then run drills to experience the instruction. After instruction we play a 20 minute small sided game, without goalies.
Players are segmented by size and age. [See Schedule]
All sessions are modeled like a clinic in that we have 20 minutes of hands on instruction, 20 minutes fo drills, and then 20 minutes of small sided games with out goalies.
Each session takes an in depth look to experience the fundamentals of ground balls, cradling, throwing, catching, dodging, passing, & shooting.
Offered each Spring during the City of Charleston Rec Department’s Spring Rec League.
Sessions focus on team skill once the personal skills are learned. Players will learn the fundamentals of offensive positioning, fast breaks, cutting, setting pics, clearing, defensive footwork, and defensive positioning.
